When your styling is consistent, customers can better find and compare products on your website, leading to higher conversion.
Consider your brand identity - casual, formal, exclusive etc and types of products - accessories, childrenswear etc. Agree with web and print departments on content types needed - front, back, detail, folded etc. Make examples, print them out and hang them up in your studio for everyone to see.
- Style and photograph best- practice examples of each type of shot you want.
- Consider making explicit examples of dos and don’ts using inspiration from both your own and other brands.
- Hang printouts on the wall in your photo studio for you and your team to see.
- Use an image overlay during styling to make sure you can repeat the same style again and again.
