From the combined creative talents of Treehawk and MicahGhost comes the latest Mod in the Breggan's Lore series - The Black Orchid Guild's Flagship the "DreamWeaver".
This unique player residence was designed and constructed specifically for use on the PS4 and uses no external assets or scripts, but provides some groundbreaking "player home" features that have never been seen before on the PS4, rich with storyline, history and a deep ongoing lore.
The "DreamWeaver" is far more than just a formidable and luxurious home for the new Black Orchid Guildmaster; as a well-armed Galleon its owner can safely sail to, dock at and disembark from three different moorings (ports) in Skyrim; There is one mooring at Solitude, another at Windhelm and even one at RavenRock on Solsthiem; or you can just step out onto the deck while the ship is at sea and between ports.
As a means of immersive travel, you are able to sail the ship from both the outside deck at the helm, or from within at the map wall. Allowing you to move about the world in a new, more immersive way and bring your home with you!
Within the ship you'll find all the luxury and appointments due a proper Guildmaster, there is plenty of themed and unique storage options -even some new twists on a few old and familiar objects, an interactive ghostly crew to maintain and protect you and the ship, a class-based dinner table that provides meals you can take with you to bestow daily buffs, outfitted crafting and enchanting rooms complete with Everfull containers of materials, and tons of themed storage. There is an incredibly ambient atrium spa on the provisioning deck; a master bedroom with its own private armory and hidden vault room, and much more, all surrounded by tons of immersive lore and lore-related items.
The ship contains and follows the immersion and lore set forth in the previous Breggan's Lore mod "Breggan's Retreat", and adds even more layers of a deep and intriguing history and explanation to the people and groups mentioned in that storyline. Likewise, the ship's former crew have remained in spirit (ghosts) to carry out their duties for the new Black Orchid Guild's master. There are over 30 unique actors involved with the DreamWeaver mod. These crew members (and a talented young guest) each have a unique circuit of activities and actions which they perform just as they did when they were alive, based on their role, their duties & the environment; some also serve as the ship's merchants, bards and ferrymen.
STARTING THE MOD
The DreamWeaver's Solitude Mooring is marked on your map and is fast travel enabled to allow you to jump right into the story.
But before you can enter the ship, you will need to earn the Guildmaster's title by acquiring at least one of the three Mooring Slips. The initial one is locked away at the East Empire Trading Company Docks outside Solitude, and the other two Mooring Slips are secured at separate locations within Windhelm's dock area and at RavenRock on Solsthiem.
Read the open book on the lectern as you stepped onto the deck from each of the docks to learn where the Mooring Slip for that location is located. Also at the Solitude Mooring, read the two books inside the crew's hut on the deck for a quick explanation of the ship, its deck & interior; also on the same table is a short Developer's Q/A book about the Mod.
UPON ENTERING THE SHIP
Once inside the ship the first thing you will want to do is locate the Map Wall (to your left as you entered) and read the note that is there to understand how to sail the ship and how to properly exit it at the destination you desire.
There are additional books located within the ship to further explain specific areas, amenities and to expand upon the lore - reading many of them is highly recommended.
