Please remember that I can only work with what I've got. If some legendary actor isn't in this video then odds are that I don't have any of his films and was therefore unable to include him, or maybe I just didn't want to include him because I find others more handsome. Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use", including non-profit, educational or personal. This is purely a fan video. No copyright infringement intended. In 1999, the American Film Institute unveiled their list of the 50 greatest screen legends from the studio era of Hollywood. The rules for this list were that the actor/ actress had to have had a movie debut pre-1950 or during the year of 1950. 500 actors/actresses were shortlisted but only 50 made the final list. I myself think it should have been a top 100 and disagree with some of the choices. But it's all just a bit fun, that's why I made a video to showcase the chart. The music used in this video is 'Cinema Italiano' from The Untouchables soundtrack (composed by Ennio Morricone).

my top 10 actors

05:01
here is a list of my current top 10 actors (even though there are 11 in the list), based not only on hot-factor, but ability to make me laugh and smile at their crazy personalities and wonderful acting skills XD. I also wanted to add Hugh Grant to this list, but wasn't sure where to place him since I like all these other actors as well... Bare in mind this list is constantly changing, but the top three actors in the video usually remain in the top 10. I am aware that some of these actors are older now - most of them I first became fans of after I saw them in movies when they were younger. I am also a fan of old-fashioned movies so I have included my two fave actors from the time period. The music is Le Onde by Ludovico Einaudi please rate or comment or reply with a video response of your own top 10 and have a beautiful day! :D

Christopher Plummer on method vs. classical acting (Part 14 of 44)

03:47
Christopher Plummer on the hilarious relationship between Method Acting ( Stanislavski ) and Classical Acting as they came to coexist in the 1930-50s. Interviewed by R.H. Thomson on October 6, 2007 in Toronto. Filming location courtesy of Four Seasons Hotel. Generously supported by The William and Nona Heaslip Foundation. Close Captioned - Method Acting vs Classical Acting I may be speaking from my own experience as a little bit of Presbyterian ness that somehow entered I think North American actor I see joined panache in French acting some British acting maybe no German acting but in North American and Canadian acting there's a bit a presbytery ness I would not do that I yes well of courses that's what broke through in the thirties (Method Acting) when the group here in New York, Hit the scene Jason Robards my old friend used to call them that whole group you know Marlon Brando, Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. He called it "Italian Street acting" he says Well lets do a little bit of "Italian street acting" now It was a real divide and I remember in the early days on Broadway when you went to rehearsal in the early fifties people like Catherine Cornell Who I was in two plays with I mean, you went to rehearsal in a shirt and tie. and a coat. It was the polite thing to do everybody was mister. The stage manager called you mister plumber no matter how larger or smaller part you played there was courtesy about the theatre in those days you'd go for go for a drink down at the bar you mix with the Italian Street actors as we called them all the Method actor boys, who came to rehearsals in t-shirts & torn jeans. It was a wonderful mix in those days because it's just happened it just started to happen we all hated each other. We'd say lets beat them They'd say lets beat those Limey Poofs Wearing their shirt and ties And they are speaking properly Who want to speak properly? They love language too. Hey what are you doing, Come talk to me. What are you doing now? They have a love of the language. Of course, their language. in a different way but it is still a love of the language Oh yeah. I suddenly thought How great it would be to do both and if you could mix the two together Use what the Method Acting boys are using and the technique of the British what a wonderful mix that would be Did you? Have you? Yes. 20 like that on the partner I collapse you could do that and then transferred into good speech there was a if it was a classic ripped deserve attention speech it's a different kind a particular miss them when you talk about the British tradition coming through there's a power in their articulate see a image there in the street language which is also powerful colorful there is a Connor articulate miss their was not marked there's not much image because they created with physicality that Bay their physical way back to it creates the image that the words in shakespeare for instance or I'm do it for you don't have to actor March better just say that because their server you can't do both on one on top of the other and that's what so many modern productions church for today a lot of the kids think that you have to act our age thing if you just look for you just let the speech do it for you don't have to move a muscle just bather remove the speech make it as real as you can I'm in contemporary terms obey the room and it creates the whole world for you Including mention of the "Italian Street actors:" De Niro, Brando, and Pacino.

And I definitely commend anyone who watches the whole thing- lol- because I know it's long. If I didn't include an actor or actress- it wasn't on purpose. I know there may be a few I overlooked. I tried to include as many as I could.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Forrest Gump is a 1994 comedy-drama film based on the 1986 novel of the same name by Winston Groom. The film was a huge commercial success, earning US$677 million worldwide during its theatrical run making it the top grossing film in North America released that year. The film garnered a total of thirteen Academy Award nominations, of which it won six, including Best Picture, Best Visual Effects, Best Director (Robert Zemeckis), and Best Actor (Tom Hanks). The film tells the story of a man and his epic journey through life meeting historical figures, influencing popular culture and experiencing first-hand historic events of the 20th century while being largely unaware of their significance, due to his borderline mental retardation. Yet amidst these valiant, desperate people, hope remains. A royal house endures unbroken from father to son. This 70 minute original drama is set in the time before the War of the Ring and tells the story of the Dúnedain, the Rangers of the North, before the return of the King. Mickey Rourke Gives The Best Acceptance Speech

08:15
Watch more at http://www.theyoungturks.com Mickey Rourke won the award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture-Drama at the Golden Globes this evening for his lead role in The Wrestler. He gave a surprisingly eloquent and heartfelt speech, noting that he is not used to speaking in public and that he was almost "out of the business" (Hollywood) a few years ago. (The critics are calling his speech "interesting.") Rourke thanked his agent, director, producers, co-stars, etc. and then he told the audience he'd like to thank his dogs--both the ones that are still with him now, and those that had passed on. Sometimes when a man's alone, all you got is your dog and they meant the world to me. --Mickey Rourke, during his acceptance speech for Best Actor at the Golden Globes. I bet nobody's ever thanked their dog before at the Golden Globes, and I admire that Mickey Rourke did. He expressed the immense love and gratitude we feel towards our dogs who give us unconditional love, companionship and loyalty. (Not to mention regular laughs.)
