"Evan: For instance, scarf as a product but its brand name "OVOW" is new in the market. Would competing price consider the best strategy? Selling too cheap would make the product appear invaluable and too expensive appear unattractive. Add value: It is a social cause product which the company would donate $1 to support providing Hepatitis B Vaccinations to poor children every time customer buy it. Thank you for your advice. Karona"

We are the partner you can rely on, when it comes to advising, planning and the execution of the visual appearance of your brand. When it comes to brand identity, retail is a special discipline. Regular marketing campaigns make a short time-to-market important, hereby enabling a shorter time of response on current events and giving the opportunity of conducting more promotional activities per year. We guarantee a consistent brand identity at all your retail locations.

Do your pitches push leads in the wrong direction? If so, then a branding message tweak can help push leads in the right direction. Branding for local small businesses is about building a strong, positive impression so when a consumer needs something, whether it’s karate classes for kids or roof replacement during a renovation, they know exactly which company to call. And when it comes to the messages that build a strong brand, some tend to be more effective than others. Getting Pitchy with It When our livelihood depends on us making the sale, it’s natural to rely on a message that goes for the conversion. But that’s not usually the most effective way to build an instantly recognizable local brand. Imagine how constant get-the-sale messaging would feel in your personal relationships. You meet a friend for coffee, and the entire time he’s trying to get you to purchase whatever he’s selling: buy my stuff...buy my stuff...have you thought about buying my stuff! Or maybe you or a loved one has a friend who clutters Facebook with constant posts selling nail wraps, chic handbags, or consulting services. The conversation is no longer a conversation. It’s a pitch...a neverending pitch that will wear you down over time until you don’t want to connect with that person anymore. Intuitively, we already understand that’s NOT the right way to communicate with family and friends. So why would our companies communicate that way? Creating Volume with Value Instead of asking for the sale at every touchpoint, consider how you can stay top of mind by adding value to the relationship you’re building. That doesn’t mean you can’t ask for the sale at the right time–-you can. But if you offer value through messages that bring useful info to the prospect’s table, that makes your brand sticky in their mind. Ask: how can I consistently give value so when my target audience has a problem they call my business to solve it? For example, if you’re planning seven touchpoints, maybe you focus on offering value during those first five touches. Conversations might include offering tips, tutorials, free resources, or even insights that make their own decision-making easier. A real estate agent might share tips on their blog for prepping a home for sale. A roofing contractor could create a Facebook ad that leads to tips for getting a home exterior ready for storm season. A pet sitter could give out a branded fridge magnet with contact info for local pet emergency services. Adding value is a long-term game, no doubt. But if you consistently provide useful information, when the consumer needs whatever it is your business is awesome at, whether it’s roofing or pet sitting, your name is already at the top of their call list.

This is Brendon speaking freestyle, recorded in one take without prompter or notes. Post your comments and questions for him below, and he might do an episode answering your question freestyle. -------------------- QUOTE: -------------------- "Part of adding value is helping people reconnect with some emotional side of their lives. A lot of what we experience today in this world is so cheap and so commoditized and so technically driven, that it’s our job, if we want to add a lot of value, to bring back humanity, to bring back in the emotion, to bring back in the color, the flare, the joy, the vibrancy, the real hues of human emotion that are often missing from everything. If you bring that back in to everything that you’re contributing, you’ll go to a level of adding value that most people will never understand and people won’t just follow you because you’re the person who asks the best questions. People won’t just follow you because you’re the person who knows the most people. People will follow you because you’re an inspirer and a leader. Because they can see within you that you have true energy, true engagement, true human emotion with everything you’re contributing, and because of that they know that you’re somebody they want to follow. For ways to add value and create buzz download my free PDF at http://www.jordanarandolph.com/blog/never-discount-your-products-heres-why/ It can be hard to stay positive when products aren’t selling, you haven’t hit your sales goal for the month and it seems no one is paying attention to your business. The solution many businesses deploy is slashing prices and throwing a sale. Sales generate buzz, create urgency to motivate customers to buy and make some big numbers appear in your bank account. Those short term gains are certainly attractive, but the long term effects of sales can be damaging to your brand and business. In this video, I’ll share with you why sales and discounting can damage your brand and what to do instead. Networking is the most powerful tool you will ever own in business. Business is all about building your connections, growing your brand and adding value to others to grow your base. That is basis for my 3 Power Networking Tips that everyone should learn and use to their advantage. 1 - You ALREADY Have A Network - So many times I hear people say "I am starting in business but I don't have a network". This is the biggest mistake. EVERYONE has a network they can use, they just havent noticed it. Your network is your friends, family, gym buddies, the people you go clubbing with, the people you chat to on the train. Always be networking. 2 - Add Value, Don't Look To Always Take Out - Adding values to others is a great way to build up your networks power. You should not always be looking for how much something means for you, you need to be adding values to others, supporting others and when the time comes to call on that part of the network it will be the strongest it has ever been and give you the best results. 3 - NEVER STOP NETWORKING - Just because you have your network now doesn't mean it will always be there. Maybe you did networking for raise funding for a project. Maybe you networked for an event that has now come and gone... you need to keep networking to keep those connections alive. You can never have a network that is too big, because networks will always shrink if you neglect it. "Do we need a Facebook page?" "How can we use Twitter to promote our brand?" "Should we start a blog?" We regularly get asked these and similar questions by our clients who either feel pressured by current trends to engage in social media or who want to jump into the pool, but aren't sure how to swim. While social media is a very prominent part of today's marketing, it shouldn't be rushed into. As with any marketing tool, it should have a well thought-out strategy behind it to ensure that whatever you do with it aligns with your brand and adds value.

Are you a recent graduate looking for ways to be successful in your career (or mid-career, looking for a boost)? Try thinking of yourself as a product and find ways to ‘upgrade’ yourself every year. Even if you’re still paying off your college loans, there are creative and cost effective ways to continuously learn and grow. Think of yourself as a product. That’s right! View yourself as a competitive product with features, benefits, assets and liabilities -- all waiting to be improved upon year over year, carefully differentiating yourself from others and creating your personal brand. Companies spend time every year listening to their customers’ needs and then they work on upgrading and improving their products. Why? So they can sell more of their products and services in the marketplace. You can use this business process of continual product improvement to make yourself more valuable as an employee as you progress through your career. Determine how you can 'upgrade' yourself. Improvement doesn’t have to be expensive. For example, what would happen if you picked one topic each year? Let’s say you have a new job and you want to be able to take on new and challenging projects, so you choose the topic of project management. Then, let’s say you went to the library and each month or so you checked out (or downloaded) and read a different book about project management. How much of an expert on the topic of project management could you become after one year and reading six or more books? If you started this practice now, of picking one subject per year and reading books on that topic, just think about how many subjects you could learn about and become an expert in over the next 10 – 20 years. It’s truly amazing when you think about how such a small change like this could have such a huge impact on your career and your life.
