3 Secrets to Stop Binge Eating | Tips to Lose Weight [HD]

In a moment, I'm going to reveal the 3 secrets that will help you control your anxiety eating. Food cravings can be said to be an emotional state that force us to lose control and keep on eating and eating, frequently very unhealthy foods. But, what triggers them? Anxiety Eating has several starting points; it can be triggered by stress, emotional disorders, low self-esteem and other causes of psychological nature. You may be able to master enough the determination to lose weight, and you may be able find the best and most effective diet plan in the world, but when you fall under the grasp of anxiety, it can very difficult, if not impossible to carry your purposes through. These are the 3 secrets that will help you control your anxiety Secret #1: Be aware of what you eat How does this work? As the impulse to binge is unconscious, being aware of each moment, in other words, being able to focus your attention on everything that's happening to you, increases your POWER to control the compulsion to eat. Achieving this is not so hard, but it does require both time and dedication. These 3 steps will help you achieve your goal: 1) Forgive yourself To stop the negative cycle, it is very important that you forgive yourself. Binging -- Feeling Guilt -- Binging again. You must put an end to this negative emotional cycle! If you binge, don't blame yourself. Instead, simply say to yourself: "What's most important is that I start feeling better about myself. Learning to control my cravings will take time, but I'll be patient. I know that I will get better at it in time." 2) Keep a record of what you eat: Take a notebook and a pencil, and keep a Food Journal of everything you drink and eat during the day. Again, you must not judge your actions; for now, being honest with yourself and writing down everything you eat and drink is more important than resisting urges. If you binge, don't worry, enter it in your food log as well. If you do this exercise, I can assure you will start noticing changes. 3) FEEL what you eat: Relax and feel the taste of food, as well as all the sensations that it produces in your mouth. Feel the smells, and what you feel as you chew and swallow. Do this with one or several meals a day. Once you start putting these 3 steps into practice, you'll soon be able to notice a huge difference in your awareness level while you eat, which will give you greater POWER to control your anxiety. Secret #2: Build up your self-esteem, and learn to control your emotions. I know, this is not an easy path to walk down, but it is absolutely necessary if you want to eliminate most of the causes of anxiety binging. Surfing the Internet you will find lots of resources and information that can help you deal with this problem. My personal recommendation is one of the books I consider the best ever written on the subject: "Your Erroneous Zones" by Dr. Wayne Dyer. This great book can be very helpful to raise your self-esteem and to learn to gain control over your emotions. If you prefer listening to books rather than reading, there are audiobook versions of the book available here in YouTube Secret N#3: Work on your inner dialogue. The words you say to yourself play a huge role in determining what you think and how you feel. Not only that, the things you constantly repeat to yourself turn into beliefs, and in the end, they become part of your reality. If you have said to yourself repeatedly "I can't stop eating", "I gain weight very easily", "I have a weakness for sweets", etc., the fact that it is very difficult for you to control your anxiety should not come as a surprise. Start changing your inner dialogue, adding phrases such as: "I enjoy taking care of my body and my health." "I control my emotions better every day." "I respect my body and my health, so I handle my emotions to prevent them from An extra benefit you'll get from them is that they will fill you with energy and power. These were my 3 secrets to stop binge eating. I'm sure that if you start applying them to your everyday life, you will achieve the body of your dreams, without struggling against yourself with every diet you begin. They are also full of fiber which will help you feel full for longer. Another great thing about avocados that was discovered during a study from The Ohio State University at Columbus is that avocados help you absorb more cartenoids from fruits and vegetables, up to 15x more to be exact. So not only will avocados help you burn fat, but you'll also be strengthening your immune system and absorbing more cancer fighting cartenoids than ever. Next we have eggs. Eggs are great to incorporate into your diet plan because they’re high in protein, high in healthy fats and they can help you feel full for a very low amount of total calories. Eggs are also one of the most bioavailable sources of protein out there. Meaning that your body can very efficiently digest, absorb, and assimilate the protein found in eggs. Having a solid protein source like eggs in your diet will help you prevent muscle loss while you eat less calories to create enough of a deficit to burn fat. Lets move on to one of the best fruits you can eat while trying to lose belly fat...berries. Compared to most other fruits berries are very low in carbohydrates, while being full in vitamins and antioxidants. These antioxidants can help improve blood flow delivering more oxygen to your muscles and your cells in general. Ultimately this can hep improve your workouts while assisting with the fat loss process. The best low carb berries to eat are blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries. Blueberries are going to be a bit higher in carbs, so to keep calories low stick with the other 3. The next food isn't really a food, but instead its a drink that's been proven very effective at helping you fight that belly fat...apple cider vinegar. Apple cider vinegar has been shown to help people lose weight and waist circumference. These aren't they typical animal studies that you constantly see that don't necessarily guarantee the same results for people. Instead these are human studies. One of these studies was 12 weeks long and it demonstrated that obese individuals could lose anywhere from 2.6 to 3.7 pounds just by consuming 1 to 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar per day. It has also been shown to improve blood sugar spikes after meals, and it can help increase fullness after a meal. In fact one study showed that taking apple cider vinegar with a high carb meal could result in people eating 200 to 275 less calories for the day. Keep in mind, you want to make sure that you dilute only one to two tablespoons of the apple cider vinegar in water. Don't drink it straight up. Next I have another high protein food for you and that's tuna. Tuna is a very lean fish that's pretty much entirely made up of protein. This makes tuna a great option to increase protein intake without increasing calorie intake too much. The important thing is if you're buying canned tuna you want to make sure you get the tuna in water not oil. If you get it in oil then all the extra calories that you save from this low fat fish will be canceled out. Fish in general is a great option for when you're trying to burn fat
How to correct your mistakes and behave better! All of us make mistakes when it comes to eating or behaving in certain ways. Sometimes we do it out of habit or because we believe that's the correct way to do it and other times because we might be inconsiderate without realizing it. So, in this video, we have a list of things that you are doing wrong and how to correct them. In addition, we also share with you some tips to help you rock the Savoir Vivre and understand good manners. - Eating the ice-cubes after you finished a drink - You should finish your drink and let the ice-cubes sit at the bottom instead of trying to get every last drop of it. - Not removing your tea bag from your tea. - Let you teabag brew for a couple of minutes (tea bags always have instruction on how long each tea needs to brew), then remove the tea bag and place it on the side of your plate. - Eating your spaghetti with just a fork. - You should always use both a fork and a spoon when eating spaghetti to make sure all of it goes on to the fork and prevent any of the falling out, or on your shirt. - Filling your wine glass. - When it comes to drinking wine, you should always fill the glass right below the middle to allow room for the wine to breath inside the glass. - Crossing your legs - When it comes to going to interview crossing your legs can be interpreted into being closed and not wanting to communicate. In addition, it is not considered very kind by many people. So if you want to cross them for comfort, just cross your feet. - Having your phone on the table. - Whether this is a job interview or a coffee with friends or family, you should always keep your phone tucked away in your bag. It is considered rude to have your phone out as it might make people think that you'd rather not talk to them be destructed with your phone. - Bitting a slice of bread. - It is more kind and an indication of good manners to cut a slice off your bread and then bite it. - Re-touching your makeup on the table or in public. - It is more polite to re-touch your makeup in the bathroom instead of public places, not everyone will like that at the table. - Not wiping your lips before drinking. - We've seen this everyone and it's not the best look to see lipstick stains on wine glasses. His new methods are driving new norms and new apps for how people quit smoking and decrease obesity, saving many people from an early death. Jonathan Bricker is an internationally recognized scientific leader in a bold approach called acceptance and commitment therapy. A Stanford researcher called his use of the approach “a breakthrough in behavioral research [that] has major public health implications for the major causes of preventable death.” Bricker and his team, having received $10 million in total federal research grants to study this topic, are rigorously testing this intervention on multiple platforms, including smartphone apps, websites, and telephone coaching. These foods are extremely high in a type of xenoestrogen known as zearalenone or ZEA. ZEA is molecularly similar to estrogen and acts like estrogen in the body. One study examined the effect that ZEAs had on a drug called Letrozole, which is specifically designed to lower estrogen levels in the body. Bodybuilders will often take it get to really low levels of body fat. The researchers found that, even small amounts of ZEA negated the effects of Letrozole. That’s a powerful indicator of the estrogen boosting effect of all those ZEA’s that are found in wheat and grain products. As well as the ZEA problem, wheat also contains phytoestrogens. They’re found in the wheat germ which is the reproductive part of the wheat seed. These phytoestrogens will bind to estrogen receptor sites in your body’s cells. In a study that was designed to investigate the combined effect of wheat germ and a breast cancer treatment pharmaceutical it was noted that one of the side effects of wheat germ was that it increased estrogen receptor activity of MCF-7 cells. However, refined grain products remove the germ, making them slightly less of a problem when it comes to estrogen. Overall though, you should limit your consumption of wheat and grain based products. Our third estrogen food type to avoid is processed carbs and refined sugars. Hopefully, you’ve already cut back on these types of foods if you're trying to bring your body fat levels down. But there’s an extra reason to ditch these types of carbs. And it has to do with that powerful blood sugar regulating hormone, insulin. As well as causing you to store more body fat, insulin lowers your body’s levels of what is known as sex hormone binding globulin. The job of this globulin is to bind the two sex hormones, testosterone and estrogen, together. When it's doing its job properly, you will have limited amounts of free estrogen in your body. But, when it's stopped from doing its job, the opposite will be the case, your free estrogen levels will be much higher. It’s the insulin response that occurs when you eat refined sugar foods that causes the interference in the activity of sex hormone binding globulin. An interesting study that focused on women showed that drinking sugar laden sodas increased estrogen levels. The interesting thing was that increased estrogen levels did not occur with either diet sodas or fruit juices. Researchers believe this is due to the fact that diet sodas don’t contain refined sugar and fruit juice contains natural fruit sugars. Another estrogen related problem with sugar consumption is that, eating too much sugar leads to an increase in stored body fat. Fat cells excrete estrogen. So, the more fat cells that you have sitting around your body, the more estrogen you’ll have floating around as well. This is additional to the estrogen produced by the endocrine system. So, rather than reaching for a sweet sugar saturated treat, do your estrogen levels a favor and opt for foods that are high in proteins, fiber and healthy fats. Our fourth no go food for estrogen is beer. I know, this is a tough one. Now, I’m not saying you can’t drink it at all, but if you want to get really lean and maximize your muscle mass and strength, then you gotta’ cut back on the booze. Here’s why. Today I'm sharing the simple healthy eating habits that I use every day. These are the eating habits I use to stay healthy. I don't prescribe to a diet to be healthy or lose weight because I think it's restrictive and isn't something that is easy to stick to. That’s because ‘prime cut’ suggests that it is a single cut of the best meat from the animal. But this isn’t the case in many restaurants. Actually, what if I told you they chop up all the leftover meat and glue it back together? Does the word transglutaminase ring a bell? This is the name for the meat glue they use to glue the low quality meat back together to make you think you’re getting a full piece. This is more than a lie, this is disgusting. Besides the fact that it is using the worst tiny cuts of meat, it’s made from ammonia. The stuff used in fertilizers and oven cleaners. They try to fight back by claiming it kills E Coli, which should not be something we should be worried about being on meat anyway. Justifying making people unknowingly eat ammonia just so they can pass off scrap meat does not seem ethical in the least. Be very careful where you eat your steak! See, this is why being a vegetarian seems like a safer option! Or maybe seafood…. #9 Imitation Crab Or maybe not seafood. For one, crustaceans feed off the worst possible debris on the bottom of the ocean. The only nastier creature is shrimp. This stuff they eat doesn’t magically disappear when they are caught and cooked either. There’s still…stuff in it that we eat…secondhand. Nevertheless, it’s expensive to buy fresh crab and shrimp, but you can get crab cakes and other delicacies at the grocery store for a pretty good price. Why? It’s usually because it is fake, under the guise of imitation crab meat. Imitation crab meat is made from the remains of other fish that are mushed together, and injected into a mold. They mince and mince random fish, whatever they can get their hands on, until it turns into the same texture as crab. It is then created into a paste that is frozen and then shaved into crab-like flakes. To make it taste like crab, they just add flavor and paint it to look like crab. So, next time you go for some cheap crab, remember that’s probably, beaten, frozen, shaved, and painted fish remains. I kind of like imitation crab but not really a fan of this process...it still tastes good so if you’re okay with this…then go ahead. #8 Parmesan Cheese Parmesan cheese is delicious! Especially, real authentic parmesan cheese. But did you know that companies will usually lie about what’s in “parmesan”? The FDA regulations make it legal to sell fake Parmesan cheese. This is some scary stuff. There are two huge deal breakers with parmesan. One is grated parmesan in the shaker. Most of the time, cellulose and mold inhibitor chemicals are added so it won’t clump. Cellulose, not cellulite, that’s just an after effect. Cellulose comes from ground up wood pulp and is considered “harmless and organic matter”. They usually add 2-4% cellulose, but the FDA doesn’t restrict it. In fact, some has been proven to carry 20%! That’s a lot of cellulose on your pasta! The saddest part is, this is just allowed in the United States. Parmesan cheese legally means the kind of cheese that comes from Parma, Italy. But in the US, you can call it parmesan when it’s just dehydrated, grated mozzarella. This is like the Kobe beef of cheeses. Most of the time, when you get parmesan, it’s not parmesan. It’s cellulose and a mixture of cheap cheeses. #7 Egg Substitute This one is a little different. No one knows what it is, but many believe that it’s a great substitute for people with egg allergies. But really, it’s still just eggs. They take mostly egg whites, fresh, frozen, or powdered, and add other ingredients. But not much. They actually just contain 99% egg whites! There’s not actually much substituting going on. It might be easier for people who don’t want to go to the trouble dealing with egg shells and yolks slipping everywhere, etc. In reality, it is called egg substitute because of that 1% that’s just artificial coloring, salt, onion powder, and who knows what else. Why? Why would they just flavor egg whites? “Egg substitute” is kind of misleading and should be for people with egg allergies who need a substitute. It shouldn’t just be eggs. Maybe it’s substituting something else? Is it the bottle substituting for the shell? Bottom line is…this isn’t egg substitute, it’s just expensive eggs.

WEIGHT LOSS TIPS // 9 science-backed tips to lose weight + keep it off
Most weight loss tips don't work long-term because they focus on quick fixes. In this video, I'm going to share 9 science-backed tips that do work and have research to back them up. These are the tips that helped me lose 40 pounds gradually and keep it off. I was 160 pounds at my heaviest weight and today I am just below 120 pounds - at the time of this video I am 119 pounds. My height is just a tad under 5' 5'' (165 cm). I lost the weight in two phases. In phase 1, where I drastically reduced my sugar intake and increased my daily activity, I went from 160 pounds to 140 pounds. Then, I hovered between 135 and 140 pounds for most of my twenties. In my thirties, I decided to drop some more body fat to reduce my risk of diabetes. I went from 135 pounds to 120 pounds in my mid-thirties. This was the hardest weight to lose and it didn't drop off as easily as the first 20 pounds. I focused on eating whole, unprocessed foods and daily activity (exercise and non-exercise related too) as well as other lifestyle and nutrition changes. The tips in this video have helped me lose the excess weight and also keep it off. These aren't changes to make for a short period of time. These are all long-term changes that require consistency. When it comes to weight loss, CONSISTENCY is key. There are many different ways to lose weight, so do what works for you, but keep it consistent. Good luck on your weight loss journey! Whichever the case may be, I'll recommend you sit tight as I walk you through just about everything you need to know. First off, the one-meal-a-day diet is exactly what it sounds like — it's a plan that restricts you to just one meal a day. In essence, you'll get to eat whatever you want but of course, you can't go beyond a single meal. For the most part, the diet plan is created to challenge your traditional views on food intake and nutrition. And according to a few doctors, it could be the key to sustainable weight loss. Well, guess what? I decided to try the diet plan for 30 days and figured I should make this video to let you in on the pros and cons. Of course, at the end of the day, you'll decide if the plan is for you or not. Let's jump right in! Pros • It's simple and straightforward As mentioned earlier, the one-meal-a-day diet comes with one simple rule — just eat one meal a day and you're good! Essentially, there's no need for calorie counting, complex meal planning or special ingredients, weighing and the likes. You just have to stick to the simple rule! • You'll get to eat all your favorite food This is perhaps the biggest highlight of the one-meal-a-day diet — it gives you the freedom to eat whatever you want, say sweet potato chips, ice-cream, cheeseburgers and more. Well, I wouldn't recommend you eat everything at once though! • Reduced appetite Well, I don't know if you're going to experience this but I discovered that after fasting for most of the day, I didn't have the urge to eat too much afterward. Well, at this point, I'll just stick to the claims that fasting shrinks your stomach and make you want to eat less. You can give the plan a shot and of course, see if you feel the same way. • Sustainable weight loss Finally, the whole idea of eating one meal a day can be incredibly effective for weight loss. But of course there's a pretty reasonable catch — you have to try not to overeat at your one meal. Remember, weight loss is the plan, so do your best to stick to it! Cons • Hunger Pains Yes, this is clearly the biggest drawback of the one-meal-a-day diet. To be honest, I felt the hunger pains at first but of course, it got better as I grew more used to the routine. So what's the point? Well, the diet plan requires you to tolerate a certain level of hunger right off the bat; this is the only way to start the journey and stick with it! Note: I wouldn't recommend you try the one-meal-a-day diet if you're prone to binge eating — you may actually end up seeing little to no result. • Low energy levels As most of us know, any diet that restricts your calories can make you feel lethargic. When you start the one-meal-a-day plan, there's a good chance of feeling more tired than usual — I also experienced it. What's more, people who rely on sugary snacks to get an energy boost may find it hard to stick with the plan. Parting Words The one-meal-a-day diet plan is clearly not for everyone but, of course, you won't be wrong to try it if you can keep up with the rule. Mirabelle Plum Don’t get caught acting suspicious around the police if you got a few of these illegal plums stashed on you! These plums you see here are grown only in the Lorraine region of France and people from the US won’t get to taste them unless they travel to western europe. You’re probably thinking, “what’s the big deal”? They’re just plums for crying out loud not an endangered species or anything. It’s somewhat of a mystery why exactly they’re banned but the answer seems to come down to money. In order to protect the financial income of the eastern province in France, most countries have agreed not to sell them. It’s a little bit similar to how we have to have the differences between Champagne and Sparkling water. Whatever the reason exactly might be, you aren’t allowed to eat them, cuz we said so! 5. Unpasteurized Milk Most of the milk we drink and the cheese we eat must go through a process known as pasteurization first before we consume it. The process was introduced by Louis Pasteur in the 1860’s and This kills the bacteria and other microbes which would be harmful for consumption . not only that but this allows for it to be stored on the shelf longer. Although some states allow the sale for raw milk 17 states have banned it. Those who are in favor of non pasteurization claim that the milk loses many of its nutrients once it goes through the process. But those who claim pasteurized milk is the way to go state that too many diseases are spread from just raw milk. In any case, it is probably best not to drink raw milk unless it’s from the mom to the offspring 4. Lazy Cakes This cakes are banned in arkansas and strangely enough, they might actually make you feel lazy. The brownies are laced with melatonin and are known to cause severe drowsiness. Melatonin is often used as an over the counter sleep supplement and typically isn’t found in our food. Rumors went on full effect when people started saying that they put some type of synthetic cannabis substance in there but in any case they will make people sleepy. Maybe people who sell them don’t realize they’re not your average brownie, and you have to kind of read the fine print to find out. 3. Pig’s Blood Cake Who on Earth would eat something that sounds this horrifying? If you guessed the Taiwanese, good job! Pig’s blood cake has been banned in the US due to sanitary reasons and whatever other reason they find is fine by me. No need to guess what the secret ingredient is with this one. It’s basically like a street food delicacy that’s made with soy broth, sticky rice and oh yeah, pigs blood! The rice is then dipped in blood and deep fried. Other ingredients might be used to coat the deep fried pig blood on a stick but once you eat it, you have to live with yourself! Supporters of the treat claim there is no sanitary issues with the preparation process but it’s still banned here! 2. Conch Queen This beautiful shellfish becomes actually pretty tasty once you open it up and eat it. The conch queen is a banned food in the US to import mostly because overfishing threatens its existence. It’s actually more like a giant sea snail which has a very sturdy shell. The caribbean is the main exporter of conch meat to the us and demand for it quite high and the US is responsible for 80 percent of the consumption of this endangered creature. Purple Mangosteen One forbidden fruit that you probably shouldn’t eat or at least be aware of is the purple mangosteen. This is a highly sought after fruit which which a delicacy in thailand must be destroyed completely if it’s found in the US! The problem isn’t that it’s a rare fruit or anything but the goal isr to keep the asian fruit fly out, which is responsible for complete destruction of some crops. The tropical species has already wreaked havoc on the state of Florida and we don’t want this thing in our country! It’s been notorious for attacking over 400 different species of fruits and vegetables.

Guess what that means, only 30 days till HALLOWEEN! What are you guys going to dress up as this year? I need some inspiration for this year so help me out! So today's video was inspired by all of you who have asked me "what do you actually eat in a full day". This changes on a daily basis, but I wanted to share something that was more typical for me when I am at home in NYC and not on set working. This is the full version of what I eat in a day so leave me your questions and I'll get to as many of them as possible! Lately I have become obsessed with overnight oats. It's my staple breakfast at the moment and it is so easy to make, you just need to put the ingredients together in a bowl the night before and VOILA (French for there it is)! The reason why I recommend Chia seed is because the seeds soak up the almond milk and it gives the oats a nice fluffy texture. I have been doing a lot of meal prep because sometimes it gets super busy so I want to make sure I am prepared in advance. A lot of you have asked me where I find the time to eat healthy and the answer is that it is all about the preparation. So when I am listening to an audiobook or watching TV I multi-task with meal prep. **Pro-Tip: Plan it out** I've said this before, that I don't follow a diet, this is my lifestyle and I've chosen health and wellness as my priorities! It is very important to eat enough protein, fruit, vegetables, & whole grains. Portions are different from person to person so focus on what feels right to you! If I need more energy I'll eat more, for example on days when I am running around NYC I will most likely snack more. Just make sure you eat enough so you feel satisfied and you don't find yourself hungry throughout the day. I say eventually because the unfortunate truth that no one wants to hear is that the stomach area is usually one of the first spots​ that​ our body likes to store fat and its usually one of the last spots to go. This may not make sense to you but it makes sense to your body from an energy conservation stand point. It's a lot easier to carry pounds of stored fat closer to the center of your body rather than distal areas like your hands feet and face. ​But don't worry, stick with me through this video and i'll show you exactly how just one simple meal a day will help you burn that stubborn fat and keep it from coming back. The key to burning that stubborn lower belly fat is consistently sticking to an effective diet plan until your body has no choice but to begin using ​the ​fat from your ​stomach area​ as energy. One meal a day intermittent fasting is one of the easiest diet plans that people can consistently stick to over the long haul because its not restrictive and when done correctly it really doesnt feel like you're dieting at all. I'm sure a lot of you are probably thinking, "hmmm.......... one meal a day isn't that unhealthy, wont it slow my metabolism and be bad for fat loss, so before i jump into this fasting method i want to talk about the myths associated with omad also known as the one meal a day diet. We've all been told ​since we were little ​that we have to have breakfast lunch and dinner and some of us have been told to eat even more often like five or six meals a day to be healthy and to lose weight. But is that true?​ The answer is no, usually the whole idea of the most natural way of eating is to have three square meals a day with breakfast being your biggest meal. However, this eating strategy didn't come from scientific or biological necessity it came from cultural patterns that developed over time. Although ancient Romans believed in eating one meal a day, by the time European settlers came to America they brought with them a mostly English culture of eating three square meals a day. Breakfast lunch and dinner became an even more popular idea when it was used by settlers to look down on native americans for not being a civilized group of people because they ate based on when they were hungry and based on the availability of food rather than on a set schedule. After that Farming practices, social status, work life, electricity and the industrial revolution all further shaped our cultural norm to eat three meals a day. Again none of this was based on science, but rather it was based on cultural ideas that stacked on top of each other over time for example one of these more recent ideas was having dinner with the family at six o clock when everyone got home from work. This idea was popularized within the last hundred years right around when electricity and lightbulbs became more common in homes which allowed us to prepare meals later at night. If we choose to continue following this cultural dogma of having to eat 3 or even five or six meals a day the only way to lower our total food and calorie intake is by having smaller less filling meals. The truth is that most of us prefer to eat until we feel full. Most of us also don't want to feel obligated to cook and eat all day. Most of us would like to lose belly fat while still enjoying food we love. And most of us want to live longer and maintain a healthy weight and body fat throughout our lives. Fasting and the one meal a day diet can help us do all of these things. As unorthodox as this might sound one of the most effective ways to lower insulin levels, lower our hunger
