If you are like most people who want to lose weight, mealtimes may leave you feeling like a lion trying to survive off field mice, deprived and unsatisfied.
This simple but very powerful NLP technique that I developed can change all that.
This technique will help you feel full and satisfied so that you not only lose weight, but keep it off.
In NLP, neurolinguistic programming, which has been called the science of success, we talk about future progression, or imagining the future as you want it to be.
I like to call it rehearsing success. Most people rehearse failure and they don't even know they're doing it. They rehearse failure by seeing themselves indulging in the behavior that they DON'T want to be doing. And then they wonder why they fail to achieve their goals!
It's really difficult to achieve a goal when you are mentally seeing yourself NOT achieving the goal!
I'd like to teach you to see yourself being successful! I'd like to teach you how to rehearse success in a way that will allow you to achieve and maintain your ideal weight automatically, easily, and effortlessly.
And the beauty of it is, you don't need to be in a state of hypnosis in order to learn this technique!
Follow along with me now, as I guide you through this process.
Imagine yourself eating your next meal or snack.
Think about something that is healthy and appropriate for you.
Imagine yourself taking small bites, chewing slowly.
And as you imagine yourself eating this healthy meal or snack, say to yourself, "I am getting so full. This is so satisfying," chewing slowly and completely, knowing that it's ONLY FOOD. Food is used to nourish the body, not the soul.
You might also say to yourself, "Food has no power over me. I have power over food. Food does NOT choose me. I choose food.
I am no longer a slave to food. I have my power back within me, where it belongs."
Continue, as you eat, to take small bites and chew slowly. Continue saying to yourself, "I am getting so full. This is so satisfying."
You might actually feel your stomach expanding with fullness and satisfaction.
You are tricking your mind into believing that your stomach is full and that you are satisfied, even with much smaller portion sizes and much healthier food than what you used to think of as "normal" for you.
If you practice this technique as you eat each meal and snack, you will become pleasantly full and satisfied.
This truly is an example of "mind over matter." It works! Use the power of your mind to rehearse success to achieve and maintain your ideal weight. It's easier than you think!
