Zarpin LOL (4 days ago)
When people say baseball is for white people... and tons of the plays were made by African Americans!
mrcholow (5 days ago)
I’m ready for 2019 season
Returning Shadow (15 days ago)
I keep seeing a video of a pitcher catching the hit ball instantly and the runner stopped after a few feet and asked, "Did you just catch that?" and the pitch just nodding yes withe shit eating grin.
bealgre (16 days ago)
Great stuff...never tire of watching these outstanding plays...Berkman looked like a drunk sailor going up the terrace.'

are they really one in a million if there is a compilation?
David Tingwald (1 month ago)
One of the best compilations I've seen! 😲
R Nickerson (1 month ago)
7:00 There's an edit in the video... WHAT HAPPENED?
tangles01 (1 month ago)
Cathcing the ball with your hands, wow, you all need some cricket.
tangles01 (1 month ago)
+Kevin L I see what you did here, but seriously catching a ball with hands, is it that difficult. Cricket is still harder. regardless of the omnidirection, you only get one innings per man and the ball bounces on the way, varying spin, pace movement etc.
Kevin L (1 month ago)
Hitting the ball with a large flat bat in literally any direction, wow, you all need some baseball.
Jamie Smith (1 month ago)
If you're an announcer who says "are you kidding me??", you'll never be Vin Scully Side note: Ozzie Smith was the best ever.
Jamie Smith (2 days ago)
+mike archer No, Ernie Harwell. The "are you kidding me?" thing has become so pervasive. If Joe was the originator of it, then he should be sole owner. And the rest are posers. I just hear it all the time, and not from him.
mike archer (2 days ago)
joe castiglione is much beloved by the millions of fans in " red sox nation". probably the only announcer you grew with was dana scully?
Jason Van Stone (1 month ago)

9:39 oooooooof that high five
Luis Ramos (1 month ago)
This video has me so excited here in my semi truck . Hahaha . Good Ol’ baseball can’t compare it to anything else. And this is coming from a dodger fan trucker who just saw his dodgers lose the World Series for the 2nd year in a row and who got news that he’s likely going to get fired in three days.

michael jennings (1 month ago)
How many of these would stand up with replay today
Kevin L (1 month ago)
I hate replay, and I still think your comment is dumb.
ericsbuds (1 month ago)
damn that second clip. I couldn't probably even throw half that far xD one thing I am glad about modern baseball is the baserunners don't constantly try and tackle the catcher and stuff. I mean it happens but watching the older games its just ridiculous to me!

I wonder if baseball players are tested for vertical leap like the NBA.
Gabriel Rockman (1 month ago)
Most of these aren't one in a million plays. Paul O'Neill's kicking the baseball back to the infield is a one in a million play. It's not as spectacular as these plays, but it's much more rare. I was disappointed we didn't see Bo Jackson's throw from the outfield wall to home plate. But at least we got an Ankiel outfield throw.
Trickee (1 month ago)
This video needs more Arenado
z VenaTix (1 month ago)
Feels like 50% of the replays are Dodgers, too bad they can't win a World Series :(
Ben T (1 month ago)
lol, "colon"
gmjpharmd (1 month ago)
4:17 I believe that catch was to keep the no hitter or perfect game intact. Correct me if I'm wrong.
How the fuck do you turn a double play on a walk
Kenny Botelho (1 month ago)
One and a million but all these plays are very similar
Martin Gardner (1 month ago)
Not actually one in a million plays, just really good ones.

Queer
74 people will die unhappy and alone, never satisfied by anything, with no one to mourn their passing.
cid (1 month ago)
how slow can you be to get doubled up on some of these plays!
Kevin L (1 month ago)
Often there's a hit and run or stolen base attempt in progress. Or the runner simply misreads the play and starts running, wrongly assuming the ball won't be caught. It's not usually because they're that slow.
Cristina Lopez (1 month ago)
and thats why u always run to first full speed no matter what
Rick Hagedorn (1 month ago)
This is a great video. The only play I can think of that definitely belonged was Mark Buehrle's insane back flip through his legs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_m3qy2O7bA
Jeter miss u 😭
Pickle Relish (1 month ago)
why make david wright personal glove when he can use his hands
John Stilwell (1 month ago)
I never understood how if the runner and ball got to the base at the same time or the runner a split second before, he is out?
TryN2Think (1 month ago)
Wow! Great job putting this together.
Zach Beitzel (2 months ago)
Is it just me or did it look like Donaldson didn't catch that one by the tarp?
Vaughn Pilcher (2 months ago)
Asdrubal Cabrera in on at least 3 of these plays. I almost forgot how much of a god he used to be at short.
ft55555 (2 months ago)
3:11 Two runners thrown out at home. LMAO!
Dave (2 months ago)
Fuck that Jeter play in the beginning. That shit was safe.
Joe Black (2 months ago)
All great plays, with a few world-class in there. But one that I think deserves its own special place is the catch by Jimmy Edmonds when he was with the Angels. No, not "important" in context, but just on the difficulty scale?... yeah, could be the greatest ever.
David Gillespie (2 months ago)
Diving catch in the outfield, is that really one in a million?
hillhead11 (2 months ago)
Great plays not rarest
No Bozos (2 months ago)
I love watching this stuff. Baseball players do amazing things day-in-and-day-out 162 games a year.

1:59 always cracks me up "LOOK AT THAT THROW"
jstrahan2 (2 months ago)
Great plays, but not "One in a Million".
Nirvana69 satisfyher (14 days ago)
Hehd., Sure he can, if the are 35 feet tall. Lol. That is a cool wall. The green monster.
+Nirvana69 satisfyher how about the 37 ft monster no one can rob that of a home run by jumping
Nirvana69 satisfyher (18 days ago)
Notice the height of the wall in Otis Nixons (Atlnta Braves) catch was 10' tall in most of the others the wall was 6' tall. Easier to rob home runs.
+R Nickerson Learn English dumbfuck. That's not even fucking close to a sentence. Dumbshit

the dude who got thrown out at first after hitting a blooper into left, goes to show why you always hustle
JJJJJayR (1 month ago)
+Kevin L yeah dont hustle you could get hurt. youre an idiot
Kevin L (1 month ago)
Counterpoint: Jason Kendall shattering his leg trying for an infield single, Adam Eaton losing all of 2017 legging out a single with 2 outs in like the 3rd inning. Hustling is what people who don't understand sports fall back on to pretend they know shit.
Keirathi (2 months ago)
There's a ton of amazing plays in here, but I think my favorite is that Arenado play where he jumped to cut the ball off and threw the runner out at third. Such a smart, heads up play.
camelCase (2 months ago)
What a fantastic compilation! Great job.

I love to watch 9:46 again and again, looking at a different member of the audience each time

Baseball has those I-feel-your-hurt-from-my-side-of-the-TV over-the-wall catches, and those really athletic pieces of cooperative fielding. In cricket, if you get hit by the ball, you wear it. No bonus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JojnoSO4MDc Cricket also can boast great catches https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boHfs7nopHc and great throws https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIPo08mZbZ0 Anyone who thinks baseball is boring should watch cricket. Anyone who thinks cricket is boring should watch baseball. If you think either game is boring, I have no time for you.
Space Ghost (2 months ago)
That Edmonds catch was probably the best catch I ever saw until I saw the David Wright catch. On a side note, Rey Ordonez was sure fun to watch.
Brytan William (2 months ago)

DarkDennis1961 (2 months ago)
That was some amazing baseball
Spencer Grant (2 months ago)
I don't care how many times I've seen these - I'm looking forward to seeing them again! God-given talent on display. Whenever I see an unassisted triple play, I recall reading that Bill Wambganss, who made one of the earliest recorded gems, said he knew exactly what to do. I didn't catch the name of the fielder featured here, but he didn't look surprised either. They're not just gifted with physical prowess, their mental prowess is impressive as well. Yeah, I know Jack Reacher says training can make average intelligence look like genius, but come on! These guys are otherworldly, if only for a moment.
Professor Time (2 months ago)
There was a time when I thought I coulda been a MLB player. Then I see shit like this and laugh my ass off. No fucking way.
